Associational Activities

Upcoming Events:

1. There will be a meeting of the Constitution and By-laws Ad hoc Committee on May 22, at 10:30 am at the AMS's New Office at 639 KY-849 West, Hickory, KY 42051. 

2. Please check with the KBC website (kybaptist.org/events) for upcoming events in which your church may want to participate. 

3. Happy Memorial Day to all. Let us remember those who gave their all for the sake of our blessed nation.

4. There will be an informal coffee fellowship at Cafe Latte' in Mayfield, Thursday, May 28th. All are welcome. Get to know co-laborers in Christ. 

5. June 2nd there will be a video chat with Michael Cabell, the new Evangelism Team Leader for the KBC, at Graves County Baptist Association, 1400 KY-303, Mayfield, 42066. This event will start at 11:00 am and refreshments will be made available. I strongly encourage you, that if you can make this event, it will be worth your efforts. 

6. There will be a Strategy Task Force meeting on June 5th, 10:30 am at the New PABA office, 369 KY-849, Hickory, 42051. We have some fairly urgent business. 

7. We bid "Fair winds and following sails" to Dr. Merrick Nunn, who will be leaving Westside Baptist Church in Murray for a pastorate in Louisiana. Westside and we both will miss him, his wife and his growing family. God speed as a new chapter of ministry is opened to him and his family. Pray for him and his family as they go, and for Westside as they transition to a new pastor. We commission Brother Merrick from our associational family to his new home and family in Louisiana!   He is sent!

8. Dr. Vann, your AMS will be teaching during the month of June (every Monday night from 6pm to 10pm) on the topic of Biblical Ethics. If you would like to join in on these sessions, please contact Amanda Davidson at Summit Christian University at 270-727-9929, to sign up.
